Fantastic and affordable place to stay downtown for a night while I was in town for an NBA game. Great for jumping into touring the city with many historical and tourist places within walking walking distance. Easy and quick commute to Amtrak station too.
We stayed here for the marathon and it was a really great experience. Check in was easy. Location was perfect. Rooms were quiet. I only had 2 issues. My room was particularly cold compared to other rooms and the bed only had a thin cover. Housekeeping brought up a nice thick comforter which helped. Wish I brought thicker pajamas for my baby who slept in a pack and play though she was probably ok. Second issue was that the smoke detector flashed a super bright light that actually took some getting used to. I would bring an eye mask if you are sensitive to this.
Nice spacious clean room. Staff was accommodating & friendly. Easy walk to attractions in the city. Uber took less than 5 minutes to arrive. The rate was also very reasonable & I will stay here again if that continues to be available.
Booked this hotel for my boyfriend and I for a weekend trip. Although we didn’t interact much with the staff, when we did they were very friendly. I will say the room could use a little updating (bathroom remodel, queen beds that are true to size) but it did the job while we were there.
It was very good and the beds were very comfy. I recommend people should stay there when they go to Philadelphia. The people who work there are very kind and helpful. The rooms were good and the food was awesome. Violet, 9 and Leo, 6
No real complaints. The room was quiet, clean, and nice although slightly outdated. Unless you need in/out privileges, pay for parking ahead of time on iParkit, it is much cheaper.
Beautiful, clean room. Would've given it 5 stars except for the peeling wallpaper in one spot in bathroom and worn carpet. Front desk very hospitable but Cafe workers unfriendly. Seemed like a safe location but witnessed a homeless person laying on sidewalk in front of hotel. Overall a very nice experience.
We had a fantastic experience with Sonesta. We had a large room on a high floor with great views. We paid a fee to check in early if available (had it not been the fee was to be refunded).), but it was and it was a huge bonus. The staff at the desk were very friendly and informative. The pool is well kept, plenty of towels, and staff coming by to check on the environs. It is in a great location. I see others had a poor experience but our stay was budget friendly and staff all around were friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend using the chat option, it is convenient and those monitoring it were always friendly. Would stay again!
